• The first of the Josue Homes opened in 1988, the second in 1993, and a third in 1997. Two more homes were added in 2007.

• Five Josue Homes in the San Diego area serve up to 38 residents at a time.

• Handicapped-accessible apartments are available to Josue Homes clients at all Father Joe's Villages permanent housing properties.

• Josue Homes is San Diego County’s first and largest non-hospice care provider for people with HIV/AIDS.

• In 1999, Josue Homes welcomed 122 men and 11 women. That same year,
105 men and nine women graduated and transferred to independent living.
