• The first of the Josue Homes opened in 1988, the second in 1993, and a third in 1997. Two more homes were added in 2007. Village Place affordable housing apartments opened in 1997.

• Five Josue Homes in the San Diego area serve up to 38 residents at a time.

• At Village Place, up to 25 handicapped-accessible apartments are available to Josue Homes clients.

• Josue Homes is San Diego County’s first and largest non-hospice provider of care for people with HIV/AIDS.

• In 1999, Josue Homes welcomed 122 men and 11 women. That same year,
105 men and 9 women graduated and transferred to independent living.
